Common Ground Festival - Cuba, NM

On the afternoon and evening of June 7th, at the Sandoval County Fairgrounds in Cuba, New Mexico, DinĂ© (Navajo), Hispanic and Anglo community members from northwestern N.M. will present a festival of personal stories, video and film, music and visual arts. The event is free and open to the public. This festival, directed and facilitated by Littleglobe’s Common Ground Project, is the inspiring result of a six-month collaborative project between artists and community members of all ages. 2. I enjoyed working on this festival & I look forward to the 2nd festival next year. I am committed to spending my Saturdays working on getting ready for it the 1st Saturday in June 2009. If that means organizing groups of members for the different workshops, (multimedia) art/crafts, writing, music & drama) then I will do that. Forward! Win
